Howard Ward, O.D.

Howard Ward, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston and his Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University.

After completing his Corneal Pathology and Contact Lenses residency at the New England College of Optometry in 2001, Dr. Ward became an optometrist because he wanted to work in a field grounded in science, but that involved working with people. Dr. Ward specializes in Scleral Contact Lenses, Orthokeratology, and Myopia Control.

Dr. Ward is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control, a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, a Certified Custom Wave Contact Lens Fitter

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ward enjoys playing the baritone saxophone in a jazz band, photography, marine aquariums, skiing, and hiking.
